Once we receive your order, it will be carefully prepared for shipping via common carrier.

Free shipping applies to the items as indicated on our website and includes heating and cooling equipment only shipped to the continental United States. Additional shipping fees apply to orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii.

A common freight carrier will deliver your order to your home or office... The driver is responsible for delivering the freight to the tailgate of the freight truck. If you need assistance with unloading, a lift gate truck can be requested for an additional charge to place the freight on the ground behind the freight truck (charges vary depending on location). Once it is offloaded from the freight truck, you are responsible for moving the freight to its final location.

All orders are shipped fully insured as occasional damage can occur. Equipment order shipped common carrier are F.O.B., Rockledge, Fl or the originating shipping point as determined by AC Overstock. You must carefully inspect your equipment at the time of delivery with the driver present, as the carriers will not accept damage or shortage claims without a notation on the delivery receipt that damage or a shortage exists.

Once an order leaves our shipping dock it officially becomes the property of the consignee with all obligations attached. In no event shall AC Overstock be responsible for damage incurred once the order leaves our facility. We will assist in the claims process for damage noted at the time of delivery providing the customer submits a copy of the noted freight bill with the delivering drivers' signature to AC Overstock. In the case of severe damage noted at delivery, AC Overstock will, at its sole discretion, file a claim with the carrier for the value of the damage or replace the damaged item. All determinations of repair value by AC Overstock shall be final unless additional information is supplied to us that were not previously submitted by the customer. Damage not noted by the consignee at the time of delivery will in no way alter any previous agreements between the customer and AC Overstock, regardless of value. In the case of damage not noted at delivery, concealed or otherwise, our sole liability shall be to assist the customer in obtaining a claim form to be filed with carrier.

In the event that you receive your order with evident damage, immediately inspect it to determine if it is cosmetic or severe enough to affect the system performance. If the damage is only cosmetic in nature, you may accept the delivery and we will provide you with an estimate to repair the damage along with a carrier claim form for reimbursement. In the event that the damage is severe, simply refuse the damaged portion and we will immediately ship a replacement at no charge to you.

Claims for damage must be submitted in writing to either AC Overstock or the delivering carrier within 10 calendar days from the date of delivery to be considered for reimbursement. Claims initiated after 10 days will not be considered or assisted by AC Overstock.

Orders shipped outside of the state of Florida are non-taxable. Florida residents please add 6% or sales tax percentage for your location.

- You may return original un-installed merchandise, if you're not completely satisfied with your purchase by requesting a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) within 30 days of your order's shipping date. RMA's expire after 30 days, and cannot be extended or renewed. Products must be received by AcOverstock prior to the RMA's expiration date. All returns will be charged shipping fees to and from your location. (Original shipping costs are non-refundable) Returned products must be in new, fully functional, and undamaged condition, and must include the original box, packing material, manuals, and accessories. If there was a product on your order given from acOverstock as a "free" gift/item, such can not be returned or exchanged for credit or upgrade to another product(s). All return products must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA). Items received without an RMA will be refused by our warehouse. If you are returning a product because we made an error in your order, we will promptly send you the correct item at no additional cost, and we will schedule and pay for return shipping. Products refused for reasons other than shipping damage will be handled as a return. If a product is damaged on the return it will be refused by our warehouse, and you the shipper must file the claim with the carrier. Items must be well packaged. Carriers sometimes decline claims if packaging is insufficient. It is strongly recommended that you insure your return and retain proof of tracking from your carrier. You are responsible for filing a shipping claim should a return item be lost or damaged in transit. Use a "traceable carrier" that can provide you with tracking services and proof of delivery. Retain your tracking number for at least three months after shipping your product. Customers who cancel orders after the order is shipped will be charged a restocking fee equaling 15% of order plus cost of freight in and freight out. Download, fill out the form and email it back to returns@AcOverstock.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization. Approved requests will be returned via email with an authorization number within 24 business hours. Please note: a ticket number is automatically generated by our system. This ticket number is only a point of reference and is not your RMA number. No items will be accepted back if they have a ticket number instead of the RMA number. If you have any problems with the electronic document please print it out, fill out the information and send it via fax to 1-888-641-3444.
- Ordering
- Incorrect items or short shipped items listed on the signed invoice must be reported to AC Overstock within 4 business days of the receipt of the shipment. Shortages that are not noted on the signed delivery receipt will not be accepted by AC Overstock. In the event that the error was on AC Overstock's part, AC Overstock will be responsible for return and replacement shipping costs.

We accept the following cards as payment for your orders:

You can use debit, check, and gift cards issued by the companies above in addition to their standard credit cards. For example, if you're paying with a Visa Check Card please select Visa from the drop-down menu on the order form when indicating the card type. If you are using a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express gift card, please note the following restrictions:
- - Pre-paid gift cards can't be combined with credit cards on a single order.
- - Pre-paid gift cards can't be used to sign up for AC Overstock Prime membership.
- - Amex Gift Cards can't be used to purchase AC Overstock gift cards.
Payment Safety & Security on AC Overstock
You can safely enter your entire card number on AC Overstock via our secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. Verified by Visa
AC Overstock does not currently support the Verified by Visa program. You can still use your Visa credit card as payment for an order, but you won't be asked to enter your Verified by Visa password. Troubleshooting Failed Authorizations and Payment Declines
To protect your security and privacy, your bank cannot provide AC Overstock with information about why your payment was declined. Because of this, you most likely need to contact your bank directly to solve most payment issues.
AC Overstock Customer Service can help you:
- - Verify if you entered your payment information correctly on your order
- - Change the payment method on an open order.
Contact your bank to resolve other payment issues even if:
- - You've successfully used the payment method on a previous order.
- - Part of your order has already charged and shipped successfully.
- - You have funds available in your bank or credit account to cover the order cost.
Here are steps you can take to resolve payment issues:
- - Contact your bank about payment security policies. Your bank may flag any unexpected activity on your account. This includes first time orders and high value purchases, regardless of the amount of funds available (or credit limit). Your bank may require your verbal authorization to proceed with a transaction.
- - Contact your bank about daily withdrawal or purchase limits. Most banks have limits on how much money can be charged or accessed in a single day. If you exceed this daily amount, your bank may block your account from any further activity regardless of available funds in the account. Your bank may require you to request a higher purchase limit to complete the transaction.
- - Contact your bank about payment authorizations and reserved funds. When you place an order with AC Overstock or on AC Overstock Marketplace, we contact your card's issuing bank to confirm that your credit card has a valid number, and has not been reported as lost or stolen. This is communicated via a full authorization for the amount of the purchase.
If you make changes to your order, cancel items, or a multiple-item order ships in more than one shipment, your card may be authorized for each change and funds may be reserved against your account for each authorization.
Some banks have been known to hold these authorizations for 7-10 business days. If your payment is declining due to lack of available funds, contact your bank to confirm if the reserved funds are authorizations, verify the amount of time they hold authorizations, and request that they remove any extra authorization to free up funds in your account.
- - Verify the payment information entered on your order. Did your billing address change recently or did you get a new card with a new expiration date? If you used a payment method already on Your Account, you may simply need to update some of the information. If you entered a new payment method, make sure you entered the number and other information correctly. Visit the Change Payment Method section of Your Account to update the payment information on an open order.
- - Submit an alternate payment method for your order. If you are unable to resolve the payment issue with your bank in a timely manner, you are always welcome to change the payment method on your order to another card. Visit the Change Payment Method section of Your Account to update the payment information on an open order.
- Viewing Orders
- To view your order, click on the link in your order email. If you no longer have access to the original email order confirmation, you may email us and we can resend it. Just be sure to include your name and address and phone number in the email request
- Equipment Selection
- AC Overstock does not guarantee or accept responsibility for the merchantability or fitness of the equipment for any particular application. Any suggestions that may be provided by AC Overstock concerning system sizing and/or selection are subject to an onsite inspection by a knowledgeable professional to confirm suitability and fitness for your particular project.
- Warranty
- Unless otherwise stated. In the event a warranty repair is needed, simply contact a local air conditioning & heating professional and they can obtain the replacement part free of charge or, if necessary, AC Overstock will provide the replacement part free of charge, plus shipping and handling charges Manufacturer's warranties do not provide for labor coverage of any type. You will be responsible for any labor charges incurred in the replacement of a warranty item. We suggest that you negotiate warranty labor charges extending for a period of one year from the installation date with your installing contractor.
