Armaflex is a mold resistant, flexible elastomeric thermal insulation. It does not use of CFC's, HFC's or HCFC's and is extremely efficient. It it fiber free and is resistance against many home issues such as dust, mold, and mildew. Armaflex Pipe Insulation is heat retardant and can maintain condensation drip from chilled water and refrigeration systems. This insulation combats heat flow for hot-water plumbing, liquid-heating, and dual temperature piping.

The most common mistake in caring for the integrity of your home cooling and heating units is failing to replace the existing line set. Some installers even reuse the line set which can create problems for your system and even cause leaks. Our complete line set comes with two copper tubing lines to connect the outdoor air conditioner or heat pump with your indoor evaporator coil. The smaller tubing is known as the liquid line while the larger of the two is the suction line. The suction line is insulated with Armaflex rubber and will offer endurance to your refrigerant line set. Old refrigerant line sets should always be replaced with new copper tubing to keep your system free of contaminants and our Refrigerant Line Set is all you need to do so.
